Apple evaluates whether the circumstances justify priority. If accepted, the request concerns review timing; it does not change the App Review Guidelines or predetermine the outcome.
An acceptance message is useful evidence, but it is not the same as In Review. Continue to verify the active app version and submission status in App Store Connect.
Why it can still appear stalled
The wrong version may be active, information may still be incomplete, the request may have been acknowledged without active review beginning, or Apple may be performing work that produces no visible status change yet. Do not guess which explanation applies.
- Confirm the request references the correct app and platform
- Confirm the same submitted version remains active
- Check App Review messages and requested access
- Record the request date, response, and case number
- Compare app, submission, and item statuses
What to avoid next
Do not cancel and resubmit solely because the expedite confirmation did not change the status. Do not file repeated requests with different stories. Do not describe acceptance as a promise of approval.
If the request and first-party follow-up have produced no movement, outside review-delay assistance may make sense when the submission is complete, the urgency is real, and the goal is an official result—not guaranteed approval.
