RESUBMISSION DELAYLast updated: August 2026

Resubmitted—and waiting all over again?

You addressed Apple’s feedback and submitted the corrected build or metadata. The app returned to Waiting for Review, but this queue now has a rejection history that must be preserved and easy to understand.

Confirm the correction is actually in the active submission

Verify the intended build, version, and submission. Check the App Review messages and confirm your response explains exactly what changed. A corrected binary that was uploaded but not selected does not solve the original issue.

If several items were submitted together, confirm no unresolved item is holding the submission. Apple’s submission model can include app versions and other items in the same review.

Make the fix easy to verify

Reviewer notes should connect the previous issue to the exact change and a reproducible path. Avoid arguing unrelated points or burying the fix in a long message.

  • Reference the previous issue or guideline
  • State the exact change without marketing language
  • Provide the path to verify the corrected behavior
  • Confirm demo access and special configuration still work
  • Preserve the rejection, reply, and resubmission timestamps

When the new wait becomes a delay case

The service does not fix the rejected issue. It becomes relevant only after the corrected submission is properly queued and the remaining problem is lack of review movement.

If Apple has not responded after resubmission, use the no-response guide. If the corrected submission has waited a week, use the seven-day checklist before repeating contact.

QUESTIONS AT THIS STAGE

Frequently asked questions

Does a resubmission return to Waiting for Review?

It can. A corrected submission enters the review process again, and its visible state should be verified in App Store Connect.

Can you fix the rejection as part of this service?

No. The current service is only review acceleration assistance for a correctly submitted app.

Does another rejection count as a result?

Yes under the acceleration result definition: Apple issued an official outcome. Approval is not guaranteed.
